Tilney All Saints - Proud to belong

We had a brilliant day dressing up as our favourite book characters for World Book Day!

As they approach the final few months of their time with us at Tilney, we presented our Otters children with their Leavers Hoodies.

Classical Music Rocks organised a workshop with Classical Pianist, Siobhain O'Higgins.  She played some beautiful music and we were amazed that she could talk to us whilst playing at the same time! With carefully placed cameras, we were able to see the internal workings of the piano as she played it.

We are so proud of our Molly Dancers! We went to the Mark Jones Day of Dance, which is organised by the Ouse Washes Molly Dancers and they have been creating and performing Molly Dances of the Fens since the 1980's. The event was held outside The Cutter Inn at Ely Riverside, and it was a wonderful day of entertainment, colour and sound. The Broom Dance judges chose us over other professional dancers as the winners and we received a trophy!

We took part in a Plough Monday Service at church and we did some traditional Molly Dancing

The Rotary Club came into school and kindly presented our Year 4 children with Dictionaries.

Recently, two of our lovely teachers gained their Elklan Certificates. Miss Jordan is the Assistant Head/Reception Class teacher and EYFS Co-ordinator for both schools, and is based at Tilney All Saints. Mrs Burch is the Reception class teacher and Forest school Lead at Anthony Curton School.
