Hello!

Just a quick email to send a special pack we've produced looking at Captain Tom Moore's recent incredible achievement  (in case you're new to Picture News – we periodically produce specials in addition to our regular Friday packs). This has been designed so it can be sent home direct to parent as a discussion activity and it can also be used in mixed age groups of key worker children you may have in school.

I've also attached a blank version of our weekly newspaper for you, please feel free to use/send home for children to complete and produce their own newspaper. If you receive any completed articles, feel free to email them to us. We will be looking to publish some to feature in the main paper, which will be sent to over 4,500 schools around the UK!

We hope these are of use and any questions or anything else I can help with – just let me know!

Kindest regards

Katie

Henry has been keeping busy mainly on his bike...he has cycled over 100 miles this month already! Generally involve a picnic too!
He has been keeping up with his gymnastics with Zoom meetings with his gym friends and with Max Whitlock workouts on YouTube!
He has also braved his pool, he made daddy get in yesterday but mummy is not that silly!
He has also been making cards for his school friends and friends he still has from Nursery and we have been delivering them on our bike rides.
Hope everyone else is keeping safe!
Kate

Patrick has been busy using rainbow coloured chalks.

Theo and Libby's mum tells us of the things they have been doing during the lockdown.
Here are some of the things as well as the homework pack we have been doing instead of going to school, we have had online photoshop lessons, gardening skills, planted seeds, learned the art of croquet (terribly British in a crisis) and after Easter the children are starting a full signalong foundation course.

Since being off school Jack has been working towards Beavers Badges from home. He has completed 9 activity badges as well as being the first Beaver Scout in Norfolk to complete the 'Scout in the House Challenge' and was asked by Norfolk's County Commissioner in Scouting to record the final message of their St George's Day video to be released.

As part of Jack's Global Issue badge, he made a water filter. My first challenge to you all is to also make a water filter and see if you can use a different method. I'm sure you've all had plenty of chocolate over Easter as well as having lots left over. My second challenge to you is to send in photos of your best chocolate face (Sorry parents) ;-P.

Looking forward to seeing you all again! Stay safe!

Miss Wiles. ;-)
