DEMAT celebration day
Both schools gathered at Walpole St. Peter's Church for a combined service to celebrate becoming part of the DEMAT academy trust There were contributions from both schools including the schools' choirs, prayers and explaining what DEMAT means.
A talk was given by Owen Rhodes (School Improvement Director from DEMAT) who was a special guest at the service.
After the service, all the children, staff and some parents went along to Tilney All Saints school where lunch was served and the rain held off long enough for everyone to have a picnic on the field. There were many activities with a Forest School theme to partake in, including a scavenger hunt, pond dipping, obstacle course, tug of war and much more. The Friends of both schools served cakes and refreshments.
